He is Elon Reeve Musk, he is 51 years old, is de founder and chief engineer of SpaceX; Tesla, The Boring Company; Neuralink and OpenAI. In this moment he is the owner of Twitter.

Musk was born in Pretoria (South Africa), he studied at the University Of Pretoria and later at the University of Pennsylvania, two years later he graduated in Economics and Physics. In 2006, he helped to create a solar energy company called Solarcity, later in 2015, he co-founded OpenAI, a non-profit research company that promotes friendly artificial intelligence. In 2016, he co-founded Neuralink, a neurotechnology company focused on developing brain-computer interfaces, and founded The Boring Company, a tunneling company. Finally, in 2022 he bought the social network Twitter for 44,000 million dollars.

Elon at 10 years old learned to program, at the age of 12 years old he designed a space video game called Blastar and sold it to a South African magazine PC and Office Technology for 500 dollars.

In 1992, Elon was awarded a scholarship to study Economics and Physics at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving his degrees in economics and physics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

In 1999, Musk co-founded the company X.com, investing 12 million dollars, being one of the first internet banks. In 2001, X.com changed its name to its PayPal product to PayPal Inc.

In 2002, Musk founded his third company, called Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX). SpaceX is dedicated to developing and producing space shuttles, with an emphasis on cost reduction and high reliability. On December 23, 2008, SpaceX signed a $1.6 billion contract with NASA.

With an estimated net worth of about $207 billion as of June 2023, Musk is the richest person in the world according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index and Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List.
